It is with profound sadness that the Board of Directors of the Wakefield Soccer Association announce the very sudden passing of one of our players, Kelly McLean, on Wednesday, March 3rd. Kelly played in our Girls Under 12 travel division and anyone that met her knew instantly that she was a beautiful young girl, a truly special person, and had a smile that would light up an entire soccer field. We will all miss Kelly's presence on the field, but will treasure all the special memories that we have of Kelly. Our heartfelt sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to her parents Sharon and Frank and her sister Megan, as they deal with this unimaginable loss.
