IV. Intramurals:
- Kindergarten
and first grade (U6 & U7) registrations still being accepted. Season runs April 28th thru
June 9th. Current
registrations at 83 U6 (59 returns) and 103 U7 (95 returns)
- “K”
and Grade 1 program will be run on Saturday mornings at Yeull Field

Travel Teams/MYSL
- Travel
coaches need to tell players about registrations and tryouts.
- Week
#1 games cancelled in Middlesex League due to weather and poor field
conditions.
- Lining
schedule is on the website. Coaches
to check their responsibilities for lining.
- Mike
Boudreau will line Mapleway on Saturdays.
- Make-up
process. Pick two dates, contact
Bill Mathews then opposing coach after confirmation of field from Bill.
- Bill
(and Steve Logan) is taking sign-ups for next year’s coaching position
consideration.
- Many
field issues. Mapleway games need
to be “on-time” due to softball games which follow immediately after
soccer.
- Paul
Melanson summarized the April 3rd meeting.
- Coaches
need to contact Phil Good regarding add/drops. May 7th is last
add/drop date for league. New
players need to be taken from tryout pool.
- Passwords
for the MYSL site need to be generic.
The passwords will be passed on to next year’s coach.
- Tryout
committee – Steve Logan is chairperson. Final recommendations to be
presented at May meeting.
- Tryouts
May 20th and June 3rd. Coaches need to tell players not to wear
uniforms to tryouts.
- U16
and U18 uniforms are ready.
- Still
confusion with the shirt re-screening. See Rick if you are still having
problems with getting your shirts back.
VI. Pictures

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for pictures -

VII. Registrar
·
Registrations currently on-line. Walk-in scheduled for Sunday April 29th
2-5 PM at the Civic
Center. A second Walk-in will be held prior to the
May 3rd monthly meeting at the Knights of Columbus.

Volunteers needed for walk-in registrations.

Joe Walsh plaque unveiling tentatively scheduled
for Sunday May 20th @ 7:30 PM. This is the first tryout date. Rich Shea will contact the Walsh Family.

Citizen’s scholarship fund fundraiser being
set-up in Joe Walsh’s memory. Joe Walsh
Scholarship (Fund) (Sports) Trivia Night on Saturday May 19th at the
WSSC.

MLS camp brochures are forthcoming. Webmaster will put a message on website. Scheduled for week of August 6th.

Nominations for Board positions at May meeting.
