I. Call to Order: 8:03 PM

Board Members Present:

President-Joe Tringale; Vice-President-Rick Archambault; Travel Coordinator-Bill Mathews; GM-Jim Fitzgerald; MYSL Rep. Paul Melanson; Secretary/Intramural Coordinator-Mark Pistorino; Registrar – Kevin Horrigan; Picture Coordinator Scott Robertson;

 

II. Secretary's Report:

• Minutes from April meeting read and accepted.

 

III. Treasurer's Report:

·        Treasurer reports from March and April read and accepted.

 

IV. Intramurals:

•  “K” and Grade 1 program will be run on Saturday mornings at Montrose Field instead of Yuelle Field.  Mark to put article in paper.  Steve D., and Wade Parsons will lay-out fields at Montrose.
• Intramural Age Directors for Fall discussed

• G3&4 – John Bosco

V.               Travel Teams/MYSL

• Travel coaches need to tell players about registrations and tryouts.
• Discussed in-lay of a ‘blue” U10 field at Walton for make-up games.
• No field times on Sunday’s for make-ups.
• Coaches need to be at tryouts and should bring a couple of volunteers.
• Un-paid Spring Fees need to be collected by coaches.  Deliver Checks to Phil Good.
• Richie Shay filled-in for Paul at MYSL meeting.
• New MYSL website is up and running.  Standings will be posted soon, but will typically be a week or two off.
•  Passwords for the MYSL site need to be generic.  The passwords will be passed on to next year’s coach.  Initial log-in password is “password”.
• Board votes to donate $100 for Joe Walsh trivia night table.  Four Board members will attend.
• Tryout Committee – Steve Logan presented the plans for tryouts based on the sub-committee recommendations.
• Motion to pay U16 and U18 players to help at tryouts accepted.  Steve Logan to work-out logistics.
• Bill Mathews will take responsibility for assigning coaches for next year.

 

VI. Pictures

·        Date set - September 15^th &16^th 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for pictures - Crowley Photo.

VII. Registrar

·        Registrations currently on-line

·        Late registration Fee to be imposed May 13^th.

·        On-line registrations will close a week before each tryout then reopen.

·        Walk-in held during this meeting.

 

 

 

VIII. Referee Coordinator

• Nothing to report

IX. Other Business – President/Vice President/Referee Coordinator

·        Joe Walsh plaque unveiling scheduled for Sunday May 20^th @ 7:30 PM.  This is the first tryout date. 

·        Citizen’s scholarship fund fundraiser being set-up in Joe Walsh’s memory.  Joe Walsh Scholarship (Fund) (Sports) Trivia Night on Saturday May 19^th at the WSSC. 

·        MLS camp brochures available. Webmaster will put a message on website.  Scheduled for week of August 6^th.
