Secretary’s Report:
The minutes from the June 4, 2009 meeting were read by Mike Boudreau and were accepted. Minutes have been posted on the Wakefield Youth Soccer web site.

This report is for the month of June 2009.
Beginning balances for the month were $43,302 in the checking account, $50,096 in the term deposit and $106,355 in the field account, for a total cash balance of $199,753.
There were $2,055 in receipts for the month consisting of Fall registrations. We recognized interest of $135 to the field/Money Market account, $1 to the operating account.
Expenses for the month were $6,503 consisting of $264 for postage (Travel letters) $30 reimbursed to Tom for tryout supplies, $250 to Dick Ellis re: MTOC stipend, $35 reimbursed to Matt Angelo for passing the G course, $4305 for the Town of Wakefield recreation field fees, $900 for rent to the Civic Center, $510 for referee expenses (associate ref fees-Spring), and $209 for registration refunds.
Ending balances are $38,855 in the checking account, $50,096 in the term deposit and $106,490 in the field money market account (May reconciled), for a total cash balance of $195,441.

Equipment Manager’s Report:
1. Please contact Mike Boudreau to arrange for any equipment turn-ins
2. Need to have any outstanding field liners collected
3. New travel uniforms will be in before August 15th

League Report
No report this month – league meeting later this week
General Information:
1. Kindergarten & Grade 1 programs to start on September 12th and run for 9 weeks through November 14th (excluding Columbus Day weekend). Start date will sync up with other intramural programs.
2. G License course to be held on September 10th in the Galvin Middle School gym
3. Advanced training – Tom Guerriero presented Coach/Player development proposal – based on discussion will present further update at next WSA meeting
4. Dolbeare Field Update – Playground construction completed on June 13th with tremendous community support. Opening day for playground took place on June 18th. Jim Fitzgerald, Chris Barrett and Mike Boudreau to meet with Dennis Fazio the week of July 6th to plan out renovations and time schedule.
5. Field Usage – in process of solidifying – will present at next WSA meeting.
