The 2019 Wakefield Soccer Association (WSA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:00 pm in the Heritage Room at the Americal Civic Center. Please join us as we announce some very exciting changes for the organization.
Please join us as we announce some very exciting changes for the organization! Then, enjoy some refreshments before participating in the Coach Education session on Game Day Coaching, immediately following the AGM. All coaches are highly encouraged to attend both sessions.
WSA is a volunteer-run organization and we need more help. Please consider getting involved to help shape the future of Wakefield Soccer by joining our Board of Directors.
All Board positions (listed further below) are open to interested candidates from the overall WSA membership, except for the President role. In particular, the following three positions currently have no candidates:
Treasurer – Responsible for the oversight of the financial affairs of the WSA. Note: Does NOT require performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. Quickbooks experience is helpful.
Registrar – Responsible for the WSA player registration process and related league affiliation requirements. Ability to operate within a variety of data and content management systems is helpful.
Website – Maintain our WordPress website. Google apps experience is helpful.
