If you’re under 18 and would like to pass your skills forward  while inspiring the next generation of players, here's your chance!

We welcome young athletes who want to bring their energy and enthusiasm to coaching younger teams. It’s a fun way to stay involved in the game, build leadership, and gain valuable experience.

Under-18 coaches do not have background checks, do not have to complete the SafeSport training requirement, and are not CORI-verified until they turn 18 years.  Concussion training is a requirement for all coaches, regardless of age.

Under-18 coaches must always have a credentialed adult (i.e. an adult who is in fulfillment of ALL Mass Youth Soccer adult risk management requirements) on the sideline.

To get started, simply complete the youth coach registration steps below:

👉 Step 1: The under-18 youth must email the WSA Risk Manager at [email protected]  to start the coach registration process.

👉 Step 2: Wait for a confirmation email, which will provide your username and password for your "adult" registration account.

👉 Step 3: Complete your registration by following the instructions in the  Under 18 MYSA Registration  document.

👉 Step 4: Complete concussion training or provide current certificate of completion to the WSA Risk Manager. 

👉 Step 5: Receive confirmation and your team assignment
