Coaching Fall 2025
ALL coaches must complete the steps below to prepare for the upcoming Fall season.

- Volunteer to Coach in the WSA Sports Connect registration system
This must be done EVERY SEASON and for EACH DIVISION you would like to coach.
If you did not volunteer when registering your child for a season, click below.

- Complete the MYSA Adult Registration Process and Training Listed HERE
All coaches are required to register with MYSA for this soccer year (Fall 25 - Spring 26)
Training courses can also be done via your registration account, Volunteer tab.
* Do not submit and/or pay for background checks on the U.S. Soccer Learning Center *
* Only Phase 1 courses need to be completed in the U.S. Learning Center * CORI Verification information is HERE

- Pre-season coaches meeting:
- Pick up your credentials:
- August 24, 9:30 - 10:30 am, Soccer Office, lower level Civic Center, Enter through front of building
- August 26, 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Soccer Office, lower level Civic Center, Enter through front of building
- Other pickup dates will be offered before the season starts.
*** Additional Steps for TRAVEL COACHES only ***
- New Travel coaches: Mandatory Essex League meeting: Tues, August 26th, 7:00 pm.
- Log in to the ECYSA MYL system. Need Help? See HERE or email [email protected]
- Make sure a current headshot photo is uploaded.
- Check your roster: click on the Coaches menu, then click on the team name.
- Obtain your ECYSA coach card from MYL system - a new one is required each season
- If you'd like to print out your own coach card, it must be in COLOR (required).
- If you cannot print it, you can get it when picking up other items
- Need equipment? Pickup in Soccer Room in Civic Center on :

- Sign up for practice times - TBD
- Print out your game cards and some blanks ones to have on hand.
- Print them from the MYL system. Print a couple for each game (just in case).
- Get your photo roster:
- Will be distributed the first week in September
- A new roster is needed for each season.
- Coaches can not print out photo rosters -- only Wakefield admins can.
